Callin’ My Name​ combines the tastes of soul, funk and reggae in it’s chorus, boiling it down to a fat, tasty and solid groove that keeps on giving. The verses on the other hand, deliver a beautiful lift in energy with a driving drum beat and rhythmic feel from the vocals and guitars.
And don’t forget the middle section break that’s absolutely overflowing with energy. Starting off with a lone percussive rhythm guitar, it quickly slaps you in the face with bongos, dual guitars, shakers, bass, high energy drums and keys that almost give off a Latin feel.
